Cookie and I met when she called me in 1972 to arrange a play date for Traci and my daughter, Laura. Hence, that was the beginning of a friendship that spanned 40 years and included the sharing of all emotions that life brings our way. It is said that a real friendship is hard to find and impossible to forget---that would be my friendship with Cookie!

I have great memories of Stella in junior high school (Tappan) and especially in our sewing class.
