Grew up EA, didn't know Stella (friends did), but she seems wonderful and a star of the neighborhood. I bet she was at the EA HS dance I played with The Statics in 1965. A sad loss.

Stella was admired and loved by all that knew her at East Atlanta High School, particularly those in the '61 through '71 classes for which she arranged monthly luncheons and a summer BBQ that brought many, many old friends back together over the decades. She was a beautiful lady, inside and out, that was kind to everyone who crossed her path. I remember seeing her as a majorette at football pep rallies back in the day.
