I am so sorry to here of Stellas passing. Her and my grandma were friends (Celia D'Andrea)

To the family of Stella: My heartfelt condolences to your family. My daughter and I met Stella in 2001 when we moved to Monroe and Stella was working at the Big Y. My daughter was 2 years old then and Stella friended both of us. She was kind, funny and full of life. She always remembered us with a card at Christmas - even this past year. My daughter is now 16 and we both remember her fondly. She was a lovely lady.

Dear Scott and family,
Sorry to hear about the loss of your mother/grandmother/great-grandmother's passing. She was one of the nicest and most friendliest person I've met and spoke to.

Dear Lisa and family: I am so sorry to read of the death of your grandmother, mother and great-grandmother. We remember you speaking about her with great love and a lot of laughter. You're in our thoughts and prayers over the coming days.

To the family of Stella I offer my deepest condolences. Stella was my first boss at Alexander's while in high school. She supported me through my many roles at the store. She was a hard worker and loved every minute of it even "sidewalk sale day". She passed her work ethic on to many of us throughout the years. I will always remember her getting the greatest joy when she would beat us at setback during our dinner hour. May God Bless & comfort all of you during this difficult time.

Stella was my boss for 11 years. Right out of high school. She was always there for me. She helped me learn all about retail. I worked all over the store. She attended my wedding. and arranged my shower. We were like family. I will miss her dearly. I just started on face book with her. RIP.

Please accept my deepest sympathy.....Stella was a great person and a real trooper. So happy I got to see her again after 30 years this past November at the Alexander's reunion. May she rest in peace She will always be in your heart.
