We were so sad to hear of Stella´s passing. We didn´t know that she passed until we stopped by the peoa cemetery yesterday and saw the grave. We sure loved her and Stan. She was a very hard working lady and very kind. Melonie and Wayne Thomas

I knew Stella when we were scout leaders back in the 1980's and while she was on the city council. A few years later I moved to another state and six years ago returned to Orem. When I saw on a current city council candidate's flyer that Stella supported the candidate I was delighted. My search to find a phone number so that I could renew my acquaintance with Stella led me to finding her obituary. I'm very sorry for your lost. My sincere condolences.

Stella was an amazing lady. We were so blessed to have her as one who visited and took care of Mom when she was on hospice care. Mom looked forward to her weekly visits with Stella. Thank you for sharing her with our family.

Condolences to Stella´s family. She was a bright light, a hardworking Mayor and a role model of service! We had the honor of knowing her from the time we moved to Orem over 30+ years ago: working along side her in Habitat for Humanity, seeing her in the neighborhood and each year in attendance at the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival.
