Stephan was very kind and supportive to me at a time when I was searching for a new career. I was working for a nonprofit for which he served as the board president, and it was in the midst of a leadership transition. Stephan was serving as an interim director, so we had a lot of interaction. I started asking about his work as a student affairs practitioner, and before long he was coaching me on grad programs, people I should talk to at Cal Poly about their careers, etc. After going to...

Stephen you made your mark in more ways in more lives than you ever knew. The world has lost someone amazing.
