Stephanie Jo Allen, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA. She was 57.
She was the loving wife of Christopher Daniel Allen. The couple had celebrated their 27th Wedding Anniversary on July 6, 2024.
Born in Sellersville, PA, she was the daughter of the late DiAnne E. Brownlow. Stephanie was a 1986 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA.
Following graduation from high school, Stephanie was employed as a waitress for the Quakertown Family Restaurant before working for a number of years at the Dollar Store, Quakertown. After working as a homemaker and raising her children, she was employed by Manhattan Bagel and, most recently, by the Pennridge School District at the Pennridge High School, Perkasie.
Stephanie was a member of St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ, Perkasie.
She had a passion for cooking and trying out new restaurants. An animal lover, she enjoyed taking care of her family’s and friends’ pets as well as visiting zoos, feeding the birds and tending to stray animals. She was known to offer a “forever home” to dogs she adopted. Most of all, she will be remembered for her “big heart”, helping people and putting others first.
Surviving with her husband are two sons, Brandon J. and Andrew P. Allen, both of Perkasie.
Her Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 4:30 to 6:00 PM.
Interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA 18944 to help defray funeral expenses.
