Brandon's Mortuary, Inc. - Malvern Obituary

On May 30, 1990, Stephanie Marie Babb surprised her parents, Reginald Keith Babb and Masie Maxine Block Babb with herself, being born after only at 28 weeks into her mother’s pregnancy. Steph, as she was called by those who knew her came into the world fighting. With Reginald being stationed at Fort Bliss, Steph was born in El Paso, Texas, but moved to Hot Springs at an early age to call it home.

Even though she had health struggles, Steph didn’t let it steal her joy. She had a captivating smile and a heart of gold to compliment it. She was always in good spirits. She enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to music, it gave her peace. She loved nothing in this world more than her children. They were her inspiration to keep fighting, especially when she was at her weakest points. She knew she was raising two Kings and a Queen. Steph didn’t lose her battle against cancer, she died from complications of the disease on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

Steph was preceded in death by her grandparents: CB Block, Frank James Babb Sr. and Mary Addie Babb; stepmother, Felicia Annette Childress-Babb. She will be loved and missed by her aforementioned parents; children: Kamya Denise Babb, A’lijah Lee Guardado, Masen Lashawn Babb; siblings: Matthew Lashawn Babb, Jonathan Keith Babb, Celquetta Delniece Babb, all of Hot Springs; her grandmother, Rebie Jean Block of Malvern and a host of other relatives and friends.

Steph's visitation will be held Friday, July 29, 2022, from 5:00 - 7:00 P. M. at Brandon's Mortuary in Malvern, Arkansas. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Deliverance Temple Church Of God In Christ in Malvern, at 11:00 A. M. Her earthly body will be laid to rest in Perla Gate Cemetery in Malvern.
