Michael, Cara, & David:
The last time I saw or spoke to Stephanie was at a Friday Night Service. She had her usual smile on her face and even though she was still ill, was sweet enough to ask me about a medical concern I had had a while back, and how I was doing. No matter her own situation she was concerned & cared about others.
Our daughters were friends and while she and I didn't talk that often, I certainly thought of her as my friend too.

I am truly sorry for your loss. Stephanie was a wonderful person who touched our lives with her kindness and caring. She taught both my boys in second grade at Butterfield, giving us the chance to know and experience her true gifts in teaching and in life. The boys never missed an opportunity to visit and say hello long after second grade. Now I know what is meant with the expression "One in a Million"...Stephanie was that person.
