Stephanie Hyman

I met Steph & Joe in 1968 around Christmas. They were good friends of my father's sister, Gay Gilbert & my dad Hennon.
The circumstances of our meeting weren't the happiest; Gay was hospitalized @ Cedar Sinai dying one month later from Ovarian Cancer.
Today is Oct 17, 2017 and I was looking for things online & ran into both Joe & Stephs obits.
They were very nice and good to me. After all these years, I can still hear her phenomenal soprano voice!

Aunt Stephanie was a source of support and inspiration for me. Her theatrical career and beautiful soprano voice were enriched by her inner beauty and spirit, graces which remained with her even through her failing health. She will be remembered with love for the life she led and the love she generously bestowed.

I am one of Stephanie's nieces. I have very fond memories of my aunt. She was generous of heart and spirit. She introduced many of us to the big city, the ocean, and what was to us an adventurous, exotic life! She was beautiful inside and out, and she had the most remarkable singing voice. Her life was testimony to the belief that you can be whatever you want to be if you have the ambition and the dream. We will all miss you, Aunt Steph!
