STEPHANIE MCKENNA, 45, of New York, worked in the accounting department at Reinsurance Solutions Inc. "There are people who do a million things," said friend Ellen Pavia. "But she went to work, came home, and took care of her son. She just loved being with him." Brian, 11, made his mother especially proud when was elected to his school's student council last year. "The greatest time in her life was when she was expecting her baby," Pavia said. "That was the most important thing to her, and it gradually grew into what had meant the most to her."

I´m looking up a few names that stood out to me today as I took pictures at the 9/11 memorial yesterday. A little squirrel was nibbling on a pink carnation in the name above Stephanie´s, and it was absolutely adorable. It brought joy to the somber moment. I hope these pictures brings a smile to whoever sees them. My 12-year-old daughter, who is my world, was with me when I took this picture.
