I only learned of Stephanie's death today and am deeply saddened. Stephanie was a beautiful person inside and out. She was such an inspiration to so many, including myself, who have suffered from this terrible disease. Stephanie could always make me laugh, and I will truly miss her. I know that she has suffered greatly and I am grateful that she is finally free from pain. My prayers will be with all of her family and friends. May God grant each of you peace.

Stephanie became my friend the first time I met her. I had just started my battle with breast cancer and Stephanie gave me hope and encouragement. I will never forget her kindness and her valient spirit. God bless her family, especially her sons and parents.

Stephanie, your fight and battle gave me more strength and determination than you ever knew. Our friendship started so long ago yet, things changed and we parted for years. Once we met up again it seemed as though we never were apart. You are special to me as a friend and also for sharing part of your life with someone dear to me. I know the two of you met on that morning you departed from us and it is a comfort to me to know you two have reunited once again. We'll all be together one day and...

Stephanie was a ray of sunshine. I met her through work at BAMSI where we were not only coworkers but friends. Stephanie was also a server at my wedding. I remember when her first son was born. She was so excited and proud. Then came the second, and she was just as proud. As the years past we only saw each other in passing, but it was always a joy to see her. I know she had more strength than anyone I know to fight the way she did through the years with her cancer. She is certainly an...

I only new Stephanie as the little sister of my high school friend Candy K Barr. I was saddended to hear of her struggle and death. Reading her guest book it sounds as though she was very well liked and loved by all who knew her. God Bless you all in your time of loss.

Stephanie was so gracious to have shared her life with us. Not only as a loving, kind lady but she shared her courage in the fight with many experiencing the same health issues. I personally gained so much inspiration from her that I am at a loss to express it completely. Thanks, Stephanie and may you now rest in God's arms for eternity. Love, Jane P. Johns (New Market)

God saw she was getting tired,
And a cure was not to be;
So he put his arms around her,
And whispered, "Come with me," With tearful eyes we watched her suffer,
And saw her fade away;
Although we loved her dearly,
We could not make her stay,
A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands to rest;
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best!
My friend I will miss you.
