Read MoreStephanie was my godmother, and l last saw her in 2005 when she and Eric visited me in Sydney, it was lovely to see them both and l am sorry to hear that she has passed away. As a child growing up on a farm in Akaroa, an enduring memory l have of Stephanie, was the 10 shilling note that would arrive for my birthday, she never forgot. God speed.
