Not sure what to say?

I didn't know Steve very well. We crossed paths at work occasionally and had a shared experience of long plane commutes to get home on the weekends. But I was struck by how nice he was and that he always seemed genuinely glad to see me when we did see each other. In fact, I just tried to look him up at work to send him a quick hello, only to see that he was no longer listed here. A quick google search brought me here, which makes me immensely sad. Steve's legacy lives on in the hearts of all of us who had the privilege of knowing him. The passage of a year has not diminished how much we constantly miss him, nor will any amount of time. On a lighter note, I often picture Steve looking down from above and wondering why we feel badly for him. The world has definitely not been the same since he left us...

I threw touchdown passes to Steve when we played football as 11-12 year olds. I think he was number 6. We also played basketball on the Olympus high basketball team as sophomores. He always loved talking his family. Very sad I am going to keep his spirit going when I teach... I learned allot from him about technology. Will miss his...

Michele and family, so sorry to hear the sad news about Steve. He was a good friend and flying companion. He will be remembered as great man, hard working and compassionate. May God bless you all this time. Nate Nelson, fellow navigator UTANG.

Adams Family,
I had the priviledge of working with Steve for many years in MD, and always looked up to him in so many ways. He had a wonderfully unique personality that made him such a pleasure to be around. Even after our careers took us in different paths, we still made time for a quarterly lunch at Olive Garden with our mutual friend Doug Taylor, where we (like clockwork) discussed the same topics of family, politics, football, and upcoming vacations. Lunch was always filled with...
