It was my good fortune in 1971 or so to have been a student of Mr. Alsop's in the 9th grade at Sudbrook Junior High School. He was one of the best teachers I ever had. What I recall the most is that he taught me to question authority. My best wishes to the entire family, please know that he made a real difference.
