G00D FRIEND AND ENJOYED HIS COMPANY ON MANY HUNTING AND FISHING TRIPS. I ENJOYED HIS AND BARBS FRIENDSHIP FOR MANY YEARS. I HAVE AND WILL MISS HIS FRIENDSHIP AND KIND HEART ,AND ZEST FOR LIFE. GOD BLESS HIM.

I was so sorry to hear about Steve. I have such great memories of him. He was my favorite dance partner in Spencer - in fact we won the annual Roof Garden dance contest. I remember that he had to keep telling me to smile while we were dancing. He was wonderful, thoughtful and very funny and I feel fortunate to have known him. My sincere condolences to all of you.

Steve and I were buddies back in high school but through the years have not had contact. I have a flood of great memories from that time and sorry we lost contact since. My condolences to you, Barbara and family.
Back in 1981 I changed my name to Mark Vale. It was Ron Neumann. Steve's sisters will no doubt remember some of those times with Steve.
Blessings to you and the family.

Barb and family, just want to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Please don't hesitate to call if you need anything or just want to talk.

Sincerely,
Cheryl, Steve, Lorraine and Beth

So sorry to read about Steve's passing,my condolences to the family. god bless

I was so sorry to read in the Spencer, Iowa newspaper of Steve's passing. I attended high school with Steve, so it has been many years since we had any contact. The instant I saw his photo, however, my memory took me back to all the times I was lucky enough to dance with Steve. He was THE best dancer in our school - the girls all thought so and would hope to get to dance with him. He was a fun loving, gentle young man. My sincere condolences to Steve's family.
