Dear Justine, so sorry to learn of Stephen´s death. My heart breaks for you and the girls. I often think of you and remember our many enjoyable dinners and dates at the Westport Playhouse with Jack and Marilyn. I, too, am in mourning. Irwin died May 12, two days before Stephen. He was diagnosed last month with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and went downhill very quickly. I understand the anguish you are going through. Fondly, Joan

Dear Justine, I met Steve in 1948 when we spent the summer at Camp Potomac and then were bunkmates for several years afterwards. We stayed in touch through college. Some years ago I saw that he had been given an award at the hospital and tried to be in touch with him but didn't succeed. He was a wonderful guy.
