I can't believe that today has been a month. I miss you so much. This has been the hardest month of my life. I still can't believe that you are not here. Please ask God why this had to happen!! I don't understand. I can't do this without you! I feel so alone in this great big world without you to share it with me. Please watch over me and the girls today and every day. I love you!!

To the Askins family, Steve was such a kind, caring person. I'll always remember him for his love of sports. I'm still a big baseball fan thanks to Steve. With love,

We were truly shocked & saddened to hear of Steve's sudden death. We remember fondly all the baseball and basketball games that we attended during his growing up years at Carmody and Bear Creek. Our most deepest and heartfelt sympathies to you and your family in this very difficult time. We share your grief and pray for God's peace to surround you and give you comfort. Blessings to you all.

We are very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Though our families have always lived far apart, we have so enjoyed the occasions when we were together. I remember visiting in Denver when I was just a little girl and how Steve loved his little car and raced it around the driveway. And, it was wonderful getting to know Steve at Great Uncle Ralph's 100th Birthday celebration. We'll fondly remember those happier times. Our hearts are with you.

For the Askin Family, I just heard the sad news about Steve. Knowing him for all the years during Green Gables, Carmody, Bear Creek and beyond, it is hard to know he is not with us any more. It was good to see him at the reunion a few years ago looking happy. I hope the memories of him will help you during this difficult time. I will remember him with a smile on his face...
