He was very patient and helped me become a better computer programmer. I remember Steve fondly during my tenture at ISU. Steve was almost always in good spirits and quite approachable. It was very clear that he enjoyed working with others and that he always remembered we are all human.

I know that words are inadequate at a time like this, but I wanted you to know how very sorry my family is for your loss! Many fond lake memories with Uncle Steve. Sending prayers and love.
