Steve was a great guy and an inspiration to me professionally as soon as I met him in 1975, as I suspect he was to everyone he ever worked with or met. I'm so sorry for our loss. Though our paths crossed only occasionally in the past 30 years, I do miss him. My deepest sympathy to his family and his other friends left behind.
