Not sure what to say?

Steve was the first great musician I ever knew. His huge musical influence on my life goes back almost forty years now. I can hear him playing like it was yesterday. All my best to his family and friends.

Steve was the first great musician I ever knew. His profound musical influence on my life goes back almost 40 years now. I remember him like it was yesterday. All my best to his family and friends.

Having grown up together from high school days, through our band days in the D.C. area, it was truly a blessing to have had the opportunity to reconnect with him and his family in Nashville, TN. Our friendship blossomed and then, all too soon, he was gone. I'll miss him dearly. Vince Santoro

Our Uncle was a gifted man, blessed in so many ways. He will always be in our hearts. Much Love to Charlotte, Zoe and Zach.

He was given a gift of being one of the truly best Guitar players to come out of the talent rich DC area. More important he shared that gift with so many others but his greatest gift was simply him. I was his friend, his first agent and his memory, his music and his love for life will always be a part of my life. Thanks Steve for so many things. My life was made better just knowing you. We shared the gift of love.

It's so nice to see it confirmed in writing that Stevie (wonder) Bishop was considered by his friends, fans, family & peers, as one of our greatest guitarists of all time. It means so much to have been one of his close friends, a student (for if ever a mentor there was), & one to have spent many days, long nights, countless gigs, high times, low blows, laugh out loud life's lessons, & in the end, a soul amongst my greatest memories. I love you Stevie.
Here's to Little Man Zach,...

I can't begin to express how much Steve Bishop means to me. Steve had a tremendous influence on me as a musician and as a friend. Steve - you are in my heart; now and always. Thank you, Steve, for being my wonderful friend. I love you.
