I was stunned this morning to see the announcement of Steve's passing. As my roommate for three years at Holy Cross, I came to know Steve as one of the finest men I have ever met. I can't even begin to express my sense of loss. Steve and Rosemary continued to be in my life for over sixty years, although we were usually separated by careers and physical distance.
