Not sure what to say?

I knew Steve many years in Alabama. Steve was a faithful servant through many difficulties. He was a kind and gentile soul who gracefully "took wrong" from his brethren as many preachers have. In the midst of personal heart ache, Steve steadfastly endured. Remembering his example of love and long-suffering, I extend my condolences to his family. It's very sad to hear of a faithful "soldier of the cross" gone at such an early age but "to depart and be with the Lord is much better".

Dear Steve's Family,
I am sorry to hear about your loss. So many people got to know Steve, and they all must have special memories of him. Steve and I were close during our years together in Brentwood and Franklin as classmates, Boy Scouts, and FHS band members. It seemed like no time had passed on the couple of times I saw him in later years. I will always remember him as a great guy.You are in my prayers.

Very sorry to learn of Steve's passing. He was a childhood friend and I'm sorry we lost contact over the years. I have fond memories of Steve and his family.

Kathy,

I am so very sorry about Steve. He was very special to me and had been since I was 15 years old. Steve was the person who, in his gentle way, encouraged me to start attending services regularly and eventually I obeyed the Gospel as a direct result of this. He was also the very first person my parents would allow me to date! Steve was ALWAYS the perfect gentlemen in every way. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers...

Kathy and All The Family, Our deepest sympathy to you and Hybernia in Steve's untimely death. We loved him and treasured the family's friendship.
God Bless You and keep you.

Marita & Edwin,

I've heard so many great things about Steve and know that he was a great "dad" to his children. He has been a great example to all who knew him directly or through others. We love your family and will keep you in our prayers.
