Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry that I've not written earlier. I'm at the clarinet conference in Portugal right now and thinking of Stephen and his love of the clarinet.

Karen, he was an amazing man - a man of all seasons. I can't imagine your felings of loss. Know that you are loved as much as both of you loved.

Trespassing

My wife Rhea and I met Stephen and Karen by trespassing on their property one Spring day in Grand Junction.
It was on April 18th, our anniversary. We had just discovered a plot of land in the Palisade area that was for sale and were excited to place a bid on it and eventually build a home there.

To the family of Stephen Boelter,

I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen through MSC Wind Symphony (we played clarinet together). He was a wonderful man and I feel very fortunate to have gotten to know him and to have played music with him. He was a very kind man who did so many things and meant a great deal to many people. Thank you for sharing him with all of us.

To Esther, Fred, Karl and Karen, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. There will always be fond memories.....

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. They who sow in tears shall reap in joy and singing. Psalm 30:5, Psalm 126:5

Karen,
I had the pleasure of knowing Stephen in the mid 70's. I worked with him at LeBistro and rented from him on Cass St. He was a very special person and had amazing talent. I lost track of hime when he went to Madison. My deepest condolencses to you and the rest of his family.

Michael and I will cherish our memories of Stephen. We showed our son the photos of Stephen holding him when he was a baby and described to him how Stephen pulled the burley on our bike rides. He was an amazing spirit, I envision him up there making heaven just a bit more beautiful. Our love, Danelle, Michael and William O'Neill

Hi Karen –

We stopped up at Jerry and Doris’ last night and heard that Stephen was at Hospice, which is just down the road from where I work now. My plan had been to stop over at lunch today to pay you both a visit. My dad has had major medical issues the past couple of years as well, and I wanted to share a story with both of you that I thought you both would enjoy and bring...
