Not sure what to say?

To most of his close friends, Steve was known as "Boze'. I got to know Boze after his college days. We shared laughs camping, bowling, golfing and having a few Yuenglings. He was one of the most knowledgeable and nicest guys I have ever had the honor to meet. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones at this sorrowful time.

To Steve's Family,

My sincere condolences on your loss. Steve was a true communications professional. His work with Gannon basketball was amazing. He even has a TV show with Coach Tom Chapman for awhile, which was unheard of at that time for a Div. II program. Hope everyone remembers Steve's work on the PIAA championship games. Thank goodness he was on those broadcasts, as the guys from eastern Pa. knew very little about our Erie teams. RIP Steve.

This man had such a wonderful sense of humor. Always made me laugh. I'm sure the angels in heaven will benefit from his delightful humor

Sincere condolences to the family for Steve Bohen, I enjoyed the years I worked with Steve at WLKK / WLVU Radio. He was a professional and had a great sense of humor.

An additional thought I neglected to mention - Any long-time Gannon hoops fan, like myself, will confirm that Steve is, was and always will be, the voice of Gannon basketball. Whenever I could not attend a game, Steve’s radio broadcast was the next best thing to actually being there. If there is not a dedication to Steve hanging in the Hammermill Center, there should be! A Golden Knight legend.

Dear Bohen Family, specifically, Terri, fellow Gannon Class of ‘85 alum, I am very sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. He was the one Gannon faculty member I stayed in contact with through the years, as I would see him out and about, especially at Gannon basketball games. We talked Gannon hoops, baseball and The Doobie Brothers. Steve was a wealth of sports and music knowledge, and, just a nice guy. He will be missed. Dave Korn, Gannon Class of ‘85.

Deeply saddened by Steve's passing. He was a mentor, a friend and one funny dude. From helping me get my first "real" job in radio to so many laughs and fun road trips with Gannon Basketball, Steve was a great guy and will definitely be missed. Patricia and I send our thoughts to the family and pray for strength, peace and comfort during this very difficult time. Rest easy, my friend.

To all who are mourning this loss, I pray that you find comfort in the memories and smiles shared with Steve. I was blessed to have known him and have him share his light and humor with me at work. He was a truly kind spirit and will be missed greatly!

I'm so sorry to hear this news. Although our lives went in separate directions, Steve held a place in my heart. Sending love to the entire Bohen family.
