Not sure what to say?

Butch and Steve! How excited I was to hear my parents Furman and Oreatha Bridges tell us when we were all small kids that we were going to see our cousins and Mom in Shelby. Butch and Steve and all of us (about 9 total) were between 3 and 9 years old. We always had a great time as kids. Thanks for the memories Steve. I am sure my siblings will never forget either.

You have my deepest sympathy. I remember Steve well from high school. We were pioneers. He was such a kind hearted, and decent person. So much so that he is easy to remember. I remember how he loved music, and sports. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. May God bless and be with the family in this time of grief, and always.

So very sorry for your loss. May God wrap his loving arms around the family in this time of grief.

My heart goes out to you in this time of your loss. Steve was a guiding light in my life from the time I was a young kid. Steve was a mentor to me long before mentoring became popular. I will always cherish the lessons he shared with me and what he meant to my life. I pray God continues to hold you in his wings of comfort.

To Lib and the family my prayers and sincere thoughts are with you at this time. Please remember that earth has no sorrows that heaven cannot heal.

So sorry to hear of Steves passing. I worked with him @ CRMC for many years. He was such a kind & gentle soul. Know that God has gained another angel in his midst. My most sincere thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of grief.

I am truly sadden to hear of Steve's passing. I remember Steve as a quite, respectful, and caring man. He will be missed by all who knew him. My deepest sympathy to Liz, Wesley, and the entire Borders family. Dora Hearn, Statesville, NC

Sorry to hear this. Steve was a great person to work with. He always helped us when we brought in patients to the ER.
Steve will be hard to replace.

To Alice Borders,
I wish to extend to you my deepest sympathy. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort in knowing Stephen's touch so many lives in what he love doing with the special gift from God.
