Not sure what to say?

Just was thinking of you and ended up here......I miss you Steve.....we had fun.......1985 seems so long ago yet only a moment.

OMG! I worked with Steve in the 70s and 80s at Barber Ford. I got to know him and Sandy over the years. What a nice family they were. I was in Ojai in Sep. 2020 for my granddaughters wedding. I thought of calling Steve to see him again and to maybe come join the other musicians as a drummer. I never did make that call. I'll never see my old friend again. I'm devastated!. Rest in piece, Steve. You won't be forgotten for being the kind, fun, soul that we all appreciated.

Sorry to hear about Syeve's passing. He was a good drummer, and a good guy. He will be missed.

Steve & I spent MANY hours working together, whether at Heck Music, or playing gigs. He was a very special guy to me and I loved his dry sense of humor. The jams at his house were legendary and we'll all remember him. God bless you, Steve.

I met Steve in the mid 70s when he was playing with Captain Crunch and the Deep Cross Cowboys, and working at RE Barber Ford. We had a natural bond from the start, and over the years had enjoyed each other’s music on numerous occasions. He always had a smile on his face, and a positive spin to put on any situation that might occur.

Steve and Sandy were two of the truest nicest I ever met here in California! Hahaha I even let Steve take my 52 Panhead for a ride!
The last time...

Ride on Steve! I'll always remember the visits and Highway 33 trips we took together-you always had a great story to share, Will miss You, Roger Lancaster,Ojai

Paula & I send our love and condolence in your father's passing.
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Steve was one of our longtime patients. He will be missed. I will miss talking about rock concerts, The Who and AC/DC with him. Rest in peace Steve. Rock on. DR. BABBITT AND Staff

I played a ton of gigs with Steve starting in the late 80’s till a few years ago. He was always a lot of fun and we had a blast. He would call me to play on the Barber Ford float in the Ojai 4th of July parades. I will miss Steve but I will smile every time I remember our gigs over the years. Rest well my friend.
