Not sure what to say?

I haven't seen Steven in years since we lived in Syracuse. We met him working with Pioneer when he was getting into the RE field. Whenever we had gatherings at our home, Steven and Maura were a "must invite" couple. he was always a joy and warm. we sort of grew into our roles together, he in development, me in construction so we learned from each other. Whenever I see or talk to people in Syracuse, I always asked about "Bowman" Today almost 2 years later I am searching for old friends and...

I miss Steve and our conversations very much

I think of Stephen often, his wisdom, his counsel, and his great sense of humor. He is cherished and I am very grateful he was my friend.

I saw the notice of Steve's passing in a Canisius College publication this week and I was stunned. Steve and I were not close in college but he was a "live wire" intellectually and socially and was always making an impression and keeping things fun and loose. He may not have known it but he actually (inadvertently, I think) introduced me to my future wife Judy Kubiniec at a party at Erie County Democratic Chairman Joe Crangle's house in about 1981. The secretary would laugh with another part of her face saying "Is this guy a lunatic?" If he could get her out from behind the desk he would ask for a hug. Then he would shake his legs as if it was...

I worked out at the Y many times with Steve on a machine next to me. The conversations we had covered a wealth of subjects. I miss Steve very much. He was a wonderful friend.

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of my dear friend Stephen Bowman. Stephen gave me an opportunity to extend my career in the Senior Healthcare Industry. I will treasure the memories of his genuine kindness and passion to provide meaning and purpose to the lives of our seniors especially those with memory care issues. My deepest condolences to Maria, his children, the Bowman family, and the Peregrine Company. Praying God´s strength and comfort for you. Myra Taliaferro

Later your own family and good people you met on your travel through life. I am so grateful I met with you and Maria in Ireland 2020 and in our home here in Norway 2022. I will always hear your laughter inside when walking through Norwegian woods, looking at the northern lights, talk of troll stories or silly daddy...
