Not sure what to say?

Just saw this 4 years later. I knew Steve at Davidson High and I taught with at his first teaching job at St. Elmo laterTheodore Middle. We actually lived in same neighborhood when we were under 12 years old. He was more than a good guy. I wonder if Jennifer will even remember me. God bless Steve and all of his family. Hank vest

Rest in Peace I will miss my Buddy, my prayers and thoughts to Jennifer, Ashton, and Mallory. Sharon French (Norwood Agency)

Rest in peace my dear friend. Steve was a very close colleague of mine during my tenure in HR in MCPSS. I shall always be indebted to Steve who suggested on one of his visits that my sleepy-headedness might be the result of sleep apnea. He actually called his sleep doctor and made an appointment for me to have a sleep study. Steve's diagnosis was spot-on. Retirement does not always favor...

Loved his car and his humor

Mr. Boykin was one of my favorite teachers at St. Elmo. He always called me Giles He was the only teacher I ever returned to visit with. He had such a great sense of humor. I will never forget getting in trouble for talking during class. He sent me to the hall to get a paddling... I was so scared... he came out and hit his own leg with the paddle, then sent me back into the class, never said a word to me. I didn't talk anymore when he said no talking in class lol!! I loved talking to him...

I'm so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I worked with his Mother Ruth for years at Mobile College and knew his Dad too. I remember when he was a young boy and all the tales his Mom would talk about on our break. Praying for all of his family and all that knew him.

Really a.nice guy. He'll be missed by his family and friends.
