Not sure what to say?

very sad day today as I think of Steve's passing and now his sister is gone as well. so many memories. my sister, Susan, and I were just talking about how Steve introduced us to so many musicians and bands. everytime i hear a Neil Young song I think of him. Janice Joplin is another one... so many. he loved music and had SO many albums! it was awesome. also, remembering when he organized a play for us to put on in front of our parents. we were pretty young... elementary school age....

He left us too soon! I miss his great sense of humor.

I send my heartfelt condolences to Erin and Kristin and Anne and Aunt Sallie and Uncle Ted and the whole Brophy clan! I have so many memories of my cousin Steve. As he was the eldest of all of the cousins on the Showalter/Brophy side, I always looked up to him. He was the cool big kid with the cool friends whenever I came to visit. I remember learning to play Marco Polo with him in the swimming pool at our grandmother, Gaga's, house in Greenwich. When we were pretty young and visiting in...

My deepest sympathy. I remember Stephen from many years ago at GCD - I did not keep in touch with him but I remember his kind smile.

My deepest Sympathy to the family. He touched so many lives with his wit, friendship, love and intelligence. He will always be watching over you girls whom he was very proud of. God Bless and keep you.

To Mr. & Mrs. Brophy and Anne, our sincerest condolences on the loss of Stephen. We interacted often in the 80's and 90's and then lost touch, sorry to say. He was a bright light and a good soul and we'll remember him with fondness. We hope the family carries on and supports his daughters as he would wish. God Bless you all.

My favorite memory of Steve was watching him learn how to belly dance. He was so funny trying to learn to shimmy. He was a good friend and a wonderful human being. He will be missed by all those he came in contact with. Rest in Peace dear friend and thank you for being you.
