Read MoreSteve was a very good athlete and friend growing up. I lived down the street growing up and also his wife Teresa. I never got a chance to tell Steve when his father passed away. He walked down to my house one day after his dad had passed. He asked me a question about how did I handle it since my dad had passed away a few years before. I know now he has his answer. My deepest sympathy to Steve's family during this time of loss. I remember him well when he was very young and working for the State Comptroller's Office - we worked together and he was such a kind, funny, smart, ambitious young man.
