Read MoreI am so sorry to see this. I coincidentally stumbled upon this tonight, must have been meant to be. I served with Steve at Griffiss and remember him well, before he went to Panama . It seems he lived a wonderful and full life, which I am glad to see. My prayers and condolences to his family.

Geri... I just read/saw your BEAUTIFUL post in FB concerning the passing of your dad. My heart breaks with you my friend as tears rolls down my face.... My sweet, beautiful man. My Dad. My Hero. This was only a fraction of all the things Sherila and I could say Dad! There was SO much more! I know you are enjoying an ice cold Corona, no lime of course, playing a game of euchre and listening to some good jams! You never know, there might be another author in the family! I love and miss you Dad It was an honor and a privilege to take care of you in the last 6 months of your amazing life! I will continue to make you proud
