Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to learn about Stephen's death. I knew him as a passionate and generous advocate for the arts, especially here at Bowdoin, where he was instrumental in setting up the Delta Sig-Bruce Brown Curatorial Internship at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art. The internship allows one graduating senior each year to have a potentially life-changing work experience, thanks to Stephen and Delta Sig. I will always remember him fondly and make sure that others know his legacy at Bowdoin....

To Stephen's family and friends, please take comfort in each other during this sad time. My deepest sympathies go out to you all.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of Stephen. D. During this difficult time may your family find comfort in the inspired words at John 6:40 where we are promised the hope of being reunited with our loved ones again in paradise on earth.

I was so sad to hear of Steve's passing. During my early modeling days back in the mid 70s Steve made a photographic portfolio for me. I will always remember him as kind, funny and a true gentleman. What an amazing life he led. My thoughts are with his loved ones at this most difficult time.

My condolences to his family, especially Peter and Paul. I always think of the three of you together in high school. Steve had great wit and a joy for everything in life, which made him a great photographer. I will miss him.
