Not sure what to say?

We first met Steve when our daughter married into the Kempton family. At most holidays, Steve and Carol were friendly faces and aswe got to know them, we learned about their travels. families, and interests. Steve was always kind and the afternoon before his passing, he pulled me up from my sitting position on the porch.

I met Steve through Son In Retirement, SIRs. We were both officers so we sat next to each other at our monthly luncheons. We got to know each other quite well. As a photographer, Steve asked me if I would photograph the model village he had made in his garage. I was amazed with the details he made in these projects. After Steve left SIRs, I would very often see him around town, especially Waffle Wednesdays at the Yuba City Senior Center. Steve was ALWAYS very friendly. He certainly will be...

I met Steve and his wife when they first moved down our street years ago. Steve was a very nice caring neighbor and human being. He would always walk his dog every morning regardless of the weather. He made it a point to stop by my house to say hello and chat for a few minutes. Our neighborhood will not be the same with his unexpected passing. He will be missed. May he rest in peace

We are so saddened by this news. Steve was a great neighbor and kept in touch with us after we moved. He was a proud USC grad and loved to talk sports. We will miss him and his updates about the old neighborhood. Our best to Carol and his family. Jerry and Dawn Noonan
