Stephen E. (Steve) Conley - passed away suddenly in an accident while riding his bike, August 12, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Thayne (Eastman) Conley. Son of the late Ann and Thomas A. Conley Sr. Loving father of Michelle Bache and her husband Paul of Abington, Kevin Conley, Kerri Conley and her fiance Brandon Cunningham all of Somerville. Brother of the late Thomas A. Conley Jr. and Maureen Conley. Dear grandfather of Joshua Bache.
He was a life long resident of Somerville. For many years he worked at Somerville Lumber before moving onto a career driving trucks for AMA. Most recently he spent his time working at Stop and Shop in the deli department.
Steve left an impression on everyone he met. His personality was like no other and he was the life of the party. You could always find Steve wearing his scali cap, drinking beer and playing darts with his friends, or at the casino playing Black Jack. Steve was the go to guy if you needed something. Everywhere he went Steve made a friend. He enjoyed riding motorcycles for many years and going up to Laconia for bike week. He passed his love for motorcycles on to his son Kevin. He loved to travel especially by cruising and was happy to have fulfilled his wife’s dream of going to Alaska. Steve will be forever missed by his children, family and friends.
Funeral procession from the the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville, Saturday morning at 11:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Catherine Church, Somerville at 12:00.
Visiting hours Friday 4:00 - 7:00.

I'm still processing that you are gone. You were always there as far as my memory goes back. You were a second father to me and almost everyone you touched. I have one memory that stands out the most and puts a smile on my face.
Mom was cooking ALL DAY on a sauce ( enough to supply a restaurant for a day) when my father walks in and bumps into it sending it all over the floor! My father slips and falls into it and he couldn't get back up because he kept slipping so Steve Conley walks...
