Dear Dames Family, I am shocked and saddened upon reading about your family's loss of Steve. He and I were best friends through much of junior and senior high. I will never forget Steve with speakers on each side of his head playing the Stooges or MC5, introducing me to the music I came to love. He was a poet and a student of life. I am sorry that we lost touch during our later years. Comfort and peace to you.
