RIP Steve

So sorry to hear of Steve´s passing. I went to high school with him and he was a great guy. Truly a loss.

Steve was a classmate at Salpointe High School. He was loved by all. My thoughts and prayers to his loving family.

Our condolences to the Darling Family. They were frequently seen at Molina´s Midway enjoying dinner together as a family. We will remember them aways. Dick and Maria Miranda

Randolph Little League baseball in the 60's for me wouldn't be complete without memories of watching practices and games as my Dad, Rudy Castro, coached Steve. The Darlings were athletic, kind, respectful of others and well known in the Randolph neighborhood. I couldn't help smile when I think of those lazy and fun times at the ballpark. My condolences to the family.

What a nice guy Steve was. Enjoyed working with him while I was at Stonebridge Ranch. All of the Darling family was special. Blessings to you all.

Steve and my brother Ronnie were freshmen at Salpointe Catholic High School. I assisted coaching both Steve and Ronnie who were freshmen baseball players... what a handful. They were very good ballplayers... I remember Steve being an outstanding hitter. I feel fortunate to have met Steve and his familly. God Bless You Steve RIP

While working with Mr. Darling, he was most polite, upbeat and consummate gentleman! Tom Keener .

In one game , summer of 1966?, Steve, catching Bill, combined on a no-hitter vs. Pima Sheriffs. It was Bill´s second no- hitter that summer. Steve almost always made contact or else connected when hitting the ball. Steve was a...
