Not sure what to say?

Steve was a great church retirement group partner and role model on how to courageously and whole heartedly pursue one's golden years. It's so easy to let go of ourselves as we retire from treasured careers. With Barb at his side, Steve showed the rest of us how to continue living with passion, love, spirituality, adventure, service, and pleasure. Thank you for demonstrating these paths back to wholeness. I just wish Steve had been able to enjoy his path on earth longer, and I picture him...

I worked alongside Steve for 24 years and have very fond memories of him. He was someone I could trust and confide in, not only professionally, but personally as well. He was a genuinely good man, and he will be deeply missed. My heartfelt condolences to all who were near and dear to him. I´m so sorry for your loss.

To Steve´s family and friends, my deepest condolences. I first met Steve in the early 70´s on Cape Cod. We were neighbors in NY where he attended the Culinary Institute. He knew my brother Richard with whom he went to the Rose Bowl Parade with. When Richard, a Vietnam Nam veteran took his life in 76´, Steve offered to go with me to Washington state to collect him and his belongings. It was a memorable, spiritual and humbling experience. We stayed in touch and Steve often called me on that...

We became close friends while in Culinary School together and hadn´t spoken in years. Suddenly last summer he was on our doorstep in Michigan and it was almost like no time had passed. So sad to hear this news. Rick and Karen Halberg
