Not sure what to say?

I'm his grand darter Chaya Diacont, and he was a great man, farther, and grand farther. He enjoyed his time here on earth. He smiled mostly all the time and he loved his family and friends. He cared for everyone, his friends and family. He loved playing football and watching me and my brothers grow up, he smiled every time he saw us and when he saw Harvey{ My first cousin}.

Dear Diacont Family,

I played football at State and I was younger then Steve, but always found him to be gracious, friendly and willing to help. He will be missed.

Dear Diacont family,
I too am a former Wolfpack football player. What a great heritage we all share. I was coached by Stephen's teamate on the famous "white shoed" defense, Chuck Amato.

You are in my prayers and thoughts. God's best to you and your family.

Blayne and Steve we are very sorry for your loss....Your dad was a quiet man at ball games but I'm sure he had a lot to say when you got home...

Dear Blayne, Erin, Buck, Anthony, Chaya,

We are saddened for you and we are thinking of you often.

We pray you have good and happy memories of Dad/ Grandpa as you go through the days ahead.
Sincerely,
George and Carol McCall

I was so sorry to read about Steve's passing. I am a Harrisburg native & a 1972 graduate of NC State. I played on the Wolfpack freshman football team in 1968 & always held Steve in high regard. He was not only a team leader & outstanding player, he was also a great guy. He had a profound impact on me without even knowing it. Steve was a class individual & marvelous role model who always treated the younger players as equals. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
Sincerely,

Louise.. so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. prayers for you and your family. Keep all the good memories in your heart forever. R.I.P. Steve
