I knew Steve from High Point high school, we shared a few classes during our senior year, 1969 - 1970. Steve and his teammate, Dave Strauss, were probably the the two greatest wrestlers in High Point history. He was so darn grounded and a really nice guy. I am so glad we crossed paths in our lifetime - RIP.
