Not sure what to say?

Family of Steve-
I am sure that the holidays are especially tough, with Steve gone a year. I have thought about him many, many times this year- takes me a second to realize, I can't call him, that he's gone.
He was the backbone of the union locals lucky enough to have him assigned as their staff rep. The Brookline local chuckled how other staff reps would accept big lunches but, during lunches from negotiations or between hearings, Steve would only order a tuna sandwich. That was...

Carol,
Steve's character will always be with us. My sympathies are with you and your family.

I worked with Steve for many years as a lawyer representing the Town of Winthrop. I just learned today of Steve's passing and want to extend my sympathy to the entire family.Steve was a rspected advocate and a friend.

I had the privilege of knowing and working with Steve for many years in my capacity as lawyer/negotiator for the Arlington School Committee. In what is often an adversarial process, Steve was a breath of fresh air. He knew that he could disagree without being disagreeable. Steve was a real gentleman. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always smiling. I will miss him. My deepest sympathy to his wife, his family, his colleagues and to the AFSCME workers he represented so well with...

TO DAVID AND FAMILY,so sorry to hear of your brother's death.
we'll pray for you and yours. joanne

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Carol and Family-
Steve was much more than a co-worker. He was a role model as a human being and my friend. I will always be grateful for time we spent together, good times, bad times, tough spots and triumphs. We shared stupid jokes with great aplomb. He was always accessible, always full of charity and kindness, a welcome face in my office. More than most staff reps, he took on "City Hall" for the most unpopular people. They have reason to be grateful.
All of us who knew...

I only knew Steve for a handful of months but I will be forever touched by his life. He was frank, kind, generous, a realist, a pragmatist and very funny. I could tell that he loved life and lived life fully. I am saddened by his sudden departure and will miss working with him. He set the standard for good labor relations. He will be missed by both labor and management. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family during this tremendously difficult time. I can only hope that...

Mrs. Dolan I am so sorry for your loss. Your husband was a wonderful person.
