Stephen G. Donahue of Levittown passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was 62.

Born in Philadelphia, Stephen was a life long resident of Levittown.

He worked at U.S. Steel's Fairless Works for many years.

Stephen loved being with friends and family He also loved fishing, crabbing, playing cards and games, shooting pool and being an all around jokester. He was a great cook and absolutely loved being able to do this for family and friends. His most frequently used phrase was "taste this, taste this".

Above all, Stephen was loving and kind and had the ability to make every one laugh.

Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Gerald, his mother, Dolores, and his brother David Donahue.

He is the husband of Donna (Delia) and the father of David (Jaimee), Dominic (Becky), Stephen (Marieen), James, David (Marie) and Danielle (Tom). He is the grandfather of 15.

Stephen is survived by his brothers, Michael (Karen), Peter (Diane), Paul, Mark, Matthew (Olga), Brian (Heather), Glenn, Luke (Roxann); his sisters Diane Amareld (Don), Suzanne Coffey, and Lori Ellis (Mike); brothers and sisters-in-law, Rory Martin (Gary), George Delia (Maggie), Ron Delia (Sue) and 41 nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call from 8:30 until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment of ashes will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

My condolences to Steve's family. I worked with Steve at PFM for many years and was the victim of his practical jokes on more than one occasion.We all enjoyed the many dishes that he made and brought in to work. I am going to miss you Steve, but will see you again in heaven....

Dear Stephen, so many good things I will miss...laughing, trying to keep you out of "the talking tree", lol, watching you with the little grandkids, cooking, your pride in your fish tank, you remembering and calling everyone for their birthdays, how proud you have been about how wonderful all the kids turned out, all the hours we spent playing board games, Stephen, so many good things....you were my brother and my friend for 62 years.

Steve you will be dearly missed . By so many . You always made everyone around you comfortable and welcome.
I will also miss you laughing at your own jokes as you told them that was always as funny as the joke.
Troy loved spending time with you and talking with you . He will cherish the time with you forever .
