There wasn´t anybody better than Steve Duhamel. What a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, businessman, community leader and... as I knew him... friend. His geographic sphere of influence was quite broad. It went far beyond his hometown of Branford and/or East Haven & North Branford where he built businesses. People throughout the state and beyond knew Steve and had the utmost respect in him as a person and confidence that if they needed advice... they could rely on his honesty and...

So many lives have been touched by the beautiful soul that has now passed. Words fall short of expressing our condolences but know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this challenging time.

A friend and a mentor, a confidant and an inspiration. Steve has left a legacy in his life as his hands, voice and dedication to hard work while helping others will be remembered forever. Steve loved life and those who have been fortunate enough to have watched how he embraced everything both ups and downs, he always showed us the light at the end of the tunnel was worth the effort. Mike, Sue and family ,We are so very sorry for your loss, We just got back from a cruise and we are just seeing this for the first time . We are stuck in Tampa until we can get out of here .Again so sorry for your loss I will come see you when I come see you when i return ,he was a great man .
