Dear Aunt Mary, Mike and family,
We received the obituary for Steve and were very surprised and saddened hearing of his death. I will always remember Steve fondly by the many memories of our families at Browns Mills, Sacred Heart and so many other occasions. We send our most sincere sympathy to you and your family. Please know you, your family, and Steve's family are in our prayers.

Dear Alice& Family:Steve & I went school together & had the same birthday. We went to his 1st dance at trenton catholic. When he came to my dads funeral last May he was giving my husband kudos for marrying me. He told him what a burden you have taken on. I remember the good times at Browns Mills and the commoderie with all the Sacred Heart families. I am sorry for your great loss and pray he rests in peace. My thoughts are with you at this sadden time. Sincerely, Mary Hutchinson Newton

Dear Mary Eckel and Family,

We were shocked and saddened to hear about Steve. We saw him last year at my Dad's funeral, looking great, and with his usual big smile which we will never forget.
Looking back, the Eckel family has always been special through the years to the Hutchinsons. Please know we are thinking of all of you at this very sad time in your lives, and praying faith in God will see you through the difficult days ahead.

Tom, Matt the the entire Eckel Family,

I cant begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Mr. Eckel was a great man, and will be sorely missed. I remember all the baseball games he attended, and all of his great wisdom he shared with me and the rest of us. Remember all the good times and all his smiles and quick witted jokes to get you through this hard time. Im sorry that I cannot attend as I am currently in Japan with the Marine...

Dear Alice, my fondest memory of Steve is when he introduced me to n the Sports Program at OLS. Steve was and is one of a kind. A guy who dedicated his life for the kids at OLS and I hope those who knew him back then know that he gave his all. I will never forget him organizing the "GOD SQUAD" GAME it was a successful fund raiser for the school. I also remember him being outside church selling the Disney Raffle that he enjoyed so much. I am still part of the Sports program that Steve...
