Stephen Daniel Eckstein

I knew Dr. Eckstein when I attended Michigan Christian College in the mid 80's. He was a true Bible scholar and a wonderful man of God. His wife Mildred was a lovely lady as well as hi daughter Nan. I would love to talk to Nan again. She is such a great gal.

I have known Stephen for many years. I was not a student of his but I always looked up to him as one who contributed to my basic understanding of the scriptures. I was trying to reconnect after over 3 decades of loosing contact. Stephen significantly contributed to the lives of thousands of students. He was not a person who called attention to himself. He was a humble person but not self degrading. I am surprised that there are not hundreds of people closer to Stephen than I was not sharing...

I met Stephen in Michigan in the mid 80's. Never knew anyone who knew the scripture as he did. Would like to reconnect with Brian and Estelle if possible.

Steve Eckstein was one of the greatest servant of Jesus Christ that I have ever known. He was one who challenged his bible students in his classes at the Church of Christ Bible Chair in Portales, New Mexico, located at Eastern New Mexico University, to learn to think for themselves.
