Not sure what to say?

I met Stephen English when he was chosen for a major acting part in the movie "FLICKERS" my son Robbie was making in 1995 in Downtown Frederick. He was one of the most vibrant, gentle, intelligent, funny, and kind person I have known. His art made me smile, especially when he was wearing it. He was part of Frederick and he will be missed very much.

Steve's light will shine on in the many stories we share in his honor-the shaving cream with a cherry on top of his head, his carrot shoes or banana shoes. He had one of the kindest hearts I've known and was a prince among men-I have missed him in my life.

Steve was a joy to be with. He was a wonderful conversationalist Hos paintings were a glimpse into his inner life. His work was vibrant, dramatic and expressed his inner self. He tried many new painting techniques, including painting by moonlight. I will miss him.

Rest easy Mr. English and know you left a footprint on Frederick! Thank you for always being yourself and sharing your happiness. Until we meet again my friend!

Will miss him always. So glad he was in my life.

Rest in peace Stephen,

One of the nicest people I know!!! Always happy always smiling always buying cards and little trinkets to give to his friends My Dad's best friend at Citizans while he was there...John Shelhorse...you will be missed by many....RIP...Rejoice in Paradise

Living in New Orleans, I've thought about Steve often. I met him in the mid-1980's when he came skipping though the fog one morning wearing his CARROT slippers! We were friends since that day. I'll never forget his joy for life and kindness and popping up when I needed a smile. Thank you for brightening my life Steve.

You were always singing, always happy. I will miss you as will so many others.
