Dear Erbe Family:

My condolences at this time of grief.

Patrice O'Dwyer. San Francisco

Very sorry to all of you on the loss of your brother. Losing a sibling is one of life's most painful experiences. God bless you all, and may Stephen rest in peace.

As an old friend old Susan's, I share the loss the entire Erbe family is going through. My prayers for peace and repose for Steven will continue as will my thoughts and prayers that the closeness and love of the entire Erbe Clan carry each of you and assuage your grief, untill that day-of-days when all will be revealed. Sincerely, Bob O'Connor -- Bay Head, NJ and Marco Island, FL

Dear Susan, Patty, Michael, Tim, and Boo,

I was very sorry to hear about Stephen. He seemed to have a perpetual smile…I know that he always made me smile. I have great memories of growing up with your family playing wiffle ball in the backyard as a little kid; and when we were older, the annual “Alice's Restaurant” on Thanksgiving night in your family's living room. I got to know Stephen better when I was a teenager and used to gawk at one of his buddies on the lifeguard stand...

Dear Boo, Tim, Michael, Patty, and Susan

I just learned about Stephen's death and wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you all at this time. Stephen and I had a lot of fun growing up together in Spring Lake. He had a great zest for life in those days that occasionally got us into trouble, but that was the fun of it. I'll always remember playing hoop in your driveway, our lifeguard days together, the Erbe family living room sing alongs and the late night summer boat...

Our sincerest condolences to all who mourn, as we do today for Stephen.

Patrick Erbe and Family

Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. Stephen is now with your mom and dad and they will take care of him as he sleeps in God's loving arms.
