Not sure what to say?

I went to Grant High School with Steve. He was a fun guy to be around, always smiling and had something interesting to say. We were so young and now it's still sad that a fellow classmate had to leave us so soon. I'll be thinking of his family who have missed him so much.

We will miss you steve, we remember all the good times we shared as a family. My kids still think of you as grandpa steve. You will be truely missed in our hearts.

It is incredibly sad to learn that time has extinguished the smile and the twinkling eyes that were so unique to Steve. I have fond memories of the times that I spent with him as a classmate and as a friend at Grant. Steve's gift to his country was a testimony to his character, and he will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. My condolences to his family.

Steve was a great guy and fun in high school. He had the greatest smile and was always personable. We will miss him. Jan Dickerman Harvey

So sorry to hear about Steve's passing. I met him years ago through Sharon and thought so much of them both. He was a delightful person and am glad to have had the opportunity to meet him.

Steve was a wonderful friend, neighbor and classmate and we will miss him so very much..it is with great pleasure that I read his obit and see what wonderful things he accomplished in his life. God bless his family an friends in this time. He was such a pleasure to know. Bev Davis Renne

Steve's death is a shock--I've always remembered his smile and beautiful dark eyes from our days in Mrs. Simpson's Geometry Class at Grant and wondered where his life went after HS. I hope it was filled with joy.

Sorry, to hear of the passing of one of the Laurelhurst group.

RIP, my cousin. So sad to lose another.

Love, Terry
