Not sure what to say?

I still miss my friend.

I came to Athens with a son needing intensive oral surgery. I got to meet Steve when I was the OR Director at ARMC. We soon became friends. My son could not have had a more well trained or caring surgeon. My son had already been thru much surgery... but Steve made him unbelievably comfortable. I will always remember his compassion, his wit, and his smile. My son and I are both better people from knowing Steve Fennell. Thanks for everything my friend....you are missed.

I went of a successful dove shoot with Steve. I was Steve's Dental supply salesman and earlier was his repair tech. I am so sorry about his passing. He was a good friend and a good customer. He will always be special to me. God rest his soul.
Val, you too have been in my prayers. I hope all is well with you.

I was stunned to discover that Dr. Fennel had passed away and I was unaware. As an RN at ARMC, I have many fond memories of "talking shop" with him about our shared passion for the outdoors. On a professional level, I had the privilege of seeing his compassion and caring towards all his patients, and,as a parent, saw him care for my two daughters with the professionalism and good humor that marked his everyday presence. I'll miss him more than I can say for so many reasons. Godspeed, Dr....

Dr. Fennell was a great man. He did surgery on my jaw in 1990 after my jaw locked up during a c-section to deliver my stillborn son. From that 1st visit he showed me great compassion. I called the office Tuesday after Memorial day to schedule an appt. because the jaw that Dr. Fennell did not treat was locked up and wanted to get Dr Fennell to do his magic once again. My friend Pat Holiday answered the phone and told me the news I have been dreading . Dear Pat and staff. I know he was...

Dr. Fennell was a wonderful man and will be dearly missed. I learned a great deal from him first as a patient 30 years ago and more recently when he was a client. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

A wonderful person that will be missed by all that knew him. He was a caring doctor and person. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Dr. Fennell was a kind and gentle doctor. He removed my wisdom teeth when I was a teenager as well as my three brothers. Then, when the time came along, he removed all three of my daughters' wisdom teeth too. I felt better knowing he was handling my daughters' surgery and he called us personally after each surgery to check on my girls. My sympathy goes out to all of Dr. Fennell's family and friends. I'm sure he will be greatly missed. It was truly a pleasure meeting him.

Steve, you have been a great friend and I will miss you every day for the rest of my life... If everyone could have your love, compassion, generosity and professionalism, it truly would be a better world...
