My deepest sympathy to the Fields family and friends. To me Mr. Fields was an incredibly kind and generous friend and he will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Mr. Fields, gone but not forgotten.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Steve. Growing up with David in the same apartment building and spending my time with Steve made me feel as though I was family. Steve was one of the most impressionable figures in my early life and I learned from him my values and keen insight. To Claudia, Jenine and David you were blessed with the greatest father and friend any child could ever have. May god bless him and care for him.

Steve, you lit up any and every room upon entering. You were Dad's best friend, and became one of mine and Ed's. Your incredible generosity, caring and undying support will always be missed. But your encouragement,laughter and hope will live on forever. Thanks for being you. Thank you for being a part of my world and making it so much better. My thoughts and prayers are with you Pam, Claudia, Janine,and David. As well, with all your families.
