So sorry for your loss. I grew up next to his great family. Have memories of playing soft-ball in the empty lot between our houses. He was such a kind and caring man. When I play with the kids in my neighborhood I always tell them the story of Steve when his nose was broken playing baseball. He will always be in my heart.

I truely enjoyed hanging out with Steve at meets and on the practice field throwing the Discus. I looked forward to his stories, random quips and his laughter. Most guys would be upset seeing their new $200 discus explode like a bad watch hitting the ground. Not Steve he just asked if we could measure the piece that flew the furthest upon impact. i was truly saddened when i heard about Steve and i just can't put into words just how difficult it was to hear. seems like only yesterday that i met you all at the Plano Rec center, and we played decades of basketball together.
